Danke für das tolle Spiel und ja für 17 Runden ging das echt schnell! Wir sind beide fix unterwegs gewesen.
Ich mag persönlich auch kein J1 DOW, weil die Economy der Allies dann zu krass ist.
Ein Schlüssel für Japan ist, es zu schaffen jederzeit innerhalb von 2 Zügen potentiell Indien einnehmen zu können. Somit kann der große Infanterie+Artillerie Stack nie weiter als Burma.
Mir reicht es als Japan vorerst dann auch, Indien klein zu halten, mit einem sub im Indischen Ozean noch das NO wegnehmen. Und die Flotte muss groß genug sein, damit USA nirgends wirklich rein kann.
Andererseits als Alliierte probiere ich genau das Gegenteil. Ich gehe die ersten 4-5 Runden eigentlich immer ausschließlich in den Pazifik. Ich finde Japan ist sonst einfach nicht aufzuhalten, da das Einkommen dort einfach nicht reicht:
Anzac mit ~10
UK Pacific mit ~6
China mit ~10.
Japan mit ~60
Wenn man jedoch ein mal die Gewürzinseln streitig gemacht hat, die Japaner vielleicht nur noch 2-3 Transporter haben oder stark unter Convoy leiden (ein Beispiel habe ich gerade in einem anderen game: Die Jap. Flotte ist bei den Philippinen, werden von 2 australischen destroyern geblockt und bei Okinawa und Japan sind ~10 Uboote und machen 20 convoy pro runde), können sich china+uk+anzac komplett alleine verteidigen und nach runde 5 muss USA keine einzige einheit mehr im Pacific bauen.
Deswegen gehe ich auch meist mit den 18 inf von Russland rein, um die japaner in den ersten 2-3 runden auseinander zu ziehen und somit von allen seiten druck aufzubauen.
Andererseits können die alliierten häufig die ersten runden sehr gut ohne US-Hilfe auskommen. Entscheidend ist natürlich dabei Kairo. Ich versuche so schnell wie möglich fabriken im Nahen Osten aufzubauen und große Stacks dort runde für runde zu sammeln, damit nach dem fall moskaus der vormarsch im Kaukasus gestoppt werden kann, genau wie in unserem spiel.
Ich hätte vermutlich etwas gewissenhafter Italien kleinhalten sollen und können. Ich habe dir erlaubt, mit Italien ein kleines Comeback zu feiern, das war eigentlich unnötig.
Mit dieser Strategie fahre ich in der Regel sehr gut und verliere eigentlich nur, weil ich taktische Fehler begehe, weil ich etwas übersehe (wie in meinem Spiel gegen Simon) oder weil die Würfel mal einen gehörigen Strich durch die Rechnung machen.
Habe gerade nochmal unser Spiel angeschaut und 2-3 Dinge dir mir aufgefallen sind:
Dein Angriff auf die US-Flotte in Runde 4 war ein Fehler.
Du hast da zwar +55 TUV gewonnen, aber direkt im Anschluss sogar mehr wieder verloren, Netto also Verlust gemacht.
Selbst wenn es Netto ein kleiner Gewinn gewesen wäre: Die Alliierten haben immer mehr Produktion, dafür aufgeteilt auf mehr Armeen. Somit wollen sie so oft wie möglich TUV austauschen, damit die größeren Produktionskapazitäten auch ausgespielt werden können.
Man sieht auch ganz gut, dass du nach diesem Kampf nur noch für eine Runde die Gewürzinseln halten konntest, bevor alles in sich zusammenbrach.
Klar, wenn USA 5 Runden lang nur im Pazifik investiert wird es mit Japan immer schwer. Du kannst da aber Zeit gewinnen mit Destroyer-Blockaden, damit die Amis nirgends ein können. Selbst wenn anzac dann jede runde 1 der Gewürzinseln holt, die kann Japan sofort zurückgewinnen. Und Indien muss dann eben auf ~3 PU gehalten werden und der Infanterie+Artillerie-Stack langsam über die Festland-Fabriken aufgebaut werden. Wenn die USA dann zwar eine riesen flotte haben aber immer rausgeblockt und damit nirgends rein können, müssen UK+Anzac+China weiterhin von USA unterstützt werden und können sich nicht alleine verteidigen.
Dass du direkt im Anschluss auch Norwegen für 2 Runden verloren hast ist ein unnötiger Fehler der dich sehr viel gekostet hat.
Mit den Achsenmächten möchte man eigentlich so wenig wie möglich Einheiten tauschen, sondern seine Stacks so groß wie möglich halten und dabei Bedrohung in verschiedene Richtungen streuen. Als Landeinheiten sind deswegen Tanks auch so mächtig, weil die Russen nicht Moskau und Kaukasus gleichzeitig verteidigen können (das mache ich mit Deutschland häufig noch falsch, ich setze viel zu viel auf Infanterie+Artillerie).
Ein Grund übrigens, warum die Bomber auf 14 PU geändert wurden. Früher konnte man mit Deutschland einfach irgendwann fast ausschließlich Bomber bauen. Irgendwann hatte Deutschland 20 Bomber und Bedrohung in alle Richtungen. Ich habe Spiele als Alliierte dagegen verloren und nicht den geringsten Hauch einer Ahnung was man dagegen machen soll. Selbst 2-3 Transporter im Mittelmeer reichen aus, um mit den 20+ Bombern Kairo einzunehmen. Also musste mein großer Stack nach Ägypten und den nahen Osten aufgeben.
Ich habe unfassbar viele Träger, destroyer etc. bauen müssen, die die Transporter sowohl vor Gibraltar, als auch dann nochmal im Kanal zu schützen. All die Träger und destroyer haben sonst aber nichts gemacht und waren nur tote TUV.
Gerne ein Rückspiel. Für 18 würde ich wieder die Allies nehmen, oder willst du Allies+17 bieten?
