@pejon_88 Russia usually cant do much, if germany has some mech and a strong airforce Russia can only move around its central territories. Doesnt matter much so long as germany gets its money.

Allies are in a very tough spot in this position. Allies need to defend Egypt but its going to be very hard to do. They cant really send their fleet into the med as it might not even be able to survive without more naval investment by UK which means less to defend Egypt which is guaranteed to fall with the only question being how easily.

I am not sure allies can even send their fleet into med at this point, they probably have to go to 110.

The mech around greece is to make certain that the only way the allies can take out the italian fleet is to sacrifice all UK air and a number of transports to do it. There is no reasonable way for allies to attack fleet or greece in this position.

I have no idea what I would do as allies in this situation, its a really bad spot. Either donate egypt and not even force the germans to send much to get it, or split their fleet and try to save egypt while also having to defend Norway which will be very hard to do with the air around.

What would you do as allies? feel free to play it out.

Whenever germany can afford to buy air it should. Germany with a large airforce is unstoppable. Forces the allies to defend against too many threats, really tough.

@ksmckay I see your point with Egypt having a bit loose at this point. I think a combined fleet in SZ98 would be possible but may be exposed of course. If it could survive one round it could then go to SZ92.

I guess my main question would be, if Axis can’t take Egypt quite easily and leave USSR with about 20-25IPC income each turn, isn’t just a question before Allies can start sending air to Russia and make it really difficult for G to take them out?

Maybe the new German units built in previous USSR factories is enough?
