I was supposed to get 18 - 19 hits on my first turn and 13 - 14 on my second. I think you hit slightly under odds as well. I didn’t expect to win but was just hoping I could catch a break and I had to stop the virus that is the uk/us.
I got 8 hits. That takes out all your ground units and 3 planes. You should get 7 hits which would take out all but 5 bombers. I assume you want the bombers to get taken out but I will wait to hear from you. I got a busy day tomorrow so if you don’t respond before 6:30 pacific (9:30) I won’t be home till late afternoon!

This game might have been over if it wasn’t for the 2’s throughout the game… I think the luck has been with me for the most part.

I kind of wish that triple a would show stats for the entire game. That wouldn’t tell everything but it would be an indication. Like I said you had a couple rounds where you missed everything and a couple that you literally hit everything. I know in Russia it felt pretty bad but I wonder what the stats would say if we went back through it. I am playing another guy and he had a couple battles go bad for him in the first two rounds as the axis and quit. So we started over and I am the one getting hosed on the dice (just one battle but pretty important). That is the precise reason I did not quit when Taranto went horribly bad for me in our first game. What fun is it when you are the allies, some dice go in your favor and the axis quit. Same when you are the axis. I managed to get it to round 12 or something and there were lots of opportunities for the dice to go crazy in my favor and start evening the game out. Unfortunately, it just never happened.
Anyways…. I want NO excuses if I end up losing. There are lots of things I should have and could have done to help my situation. It is still lots of fun and you are a great challenge. The only one I have played so far. I am playing allweneedislove right now so lets see how bad I get spanked:)

By the gods the dice are fickle. You said it well.
I just had a league round when all three aircraft facing AA were hit in the same round… snake eyes in one spot and a single hit in another… 3 for 3 on ones is a 1 in 216 probability. Ouch!
You’re beating me up in this game. Yes, you still have to make it through to Egypt (or London), so we have a ways to go, but that Caucasus battle will probably be my doom.
On the bright side, the UK will get 2 IPCs… and an IC… for a round :-D
Regarding playing through when things look bleak - agreed. Sometimes the writing is completely on the wall and there’s no point, but if there’s still a glimmer, the dice can always come back your way in a big battle - you never know.
