@Daaras all the planes from India can reach and if they’re safe to land in Burma, I’d still make that attack. So block or put way more

 No scramble.

Without abnormal dice (granted, we’ve seen that ), it seems like the strafe opening dooms the entire British fleet without significantly risking any planes or capitol ships. If Britain scrambles in SZ110 G1 and does not over-perform, Germany will have an easy Sea Lion. If Britain doesn’t scramble in SZ110 G1, it still can’t defend the survivors in SZ111, mostly likely can’t retaliate when they are sunk, and also suffer convoy damage. Eitherway, Britain can’t defend itself against a G3 or G4 Sea Lion (unless perhaps it gives up Taranto, which I strongly considered)

Not that the Axis really need to Sea Lion when the UK has no Atlantic navy.

I believe in this version, allowing Sealion is not such a big deal. When russia is played properly, they become so big that they can defend themselves so well and for so long that it gives better winning chances for the allies than an all out Barbarossa. SeaLion is now only interesting when UK underdefend UK, or get horribly diced in the opening round, IMO

Do you think Taranto should be universal then (as a lot of the forum advocates)? I really struggle with Allied strategy.
