“About average” means the upper half of 3.4 survivors if won ;)
This game is really really hard to play for the Allies. We playing the 9th turn and literally EVERYTHING went well for the Axis. There were a couple of attacks that had potential to go bad and they all went well, most of them above average. And even in the smaller battles you just get almost flawless results while in defense even your subs hit every second shot or so.

Average meaning that I should get 4 hits and you should get 2.33 hits. I got my 4 and you got your 2. It would be a game changer if you got 4 and I got 2, but hard to be upset about being 0.333 below average. True that I have not had any horrible failures that change the game outcome.

Good dice for me that turn. Even better than required, I could not fully benefit from that unexpected whiff round 2 at 92 because now one plane needed to crash.
