I just had a league round when all three aircraft facing AA were hit in the same round… snake eyes in one spot and a single hit in another… 3 for 3 on ones is a 1 in 216 probability. Ouch!
You’re beating me up in this game. Yes, you still have to make it through to Egypt (or London), so we have a ways to go, but that Caucasus battle will probably be my doom.
On the bright side, the UK will get 2 IPCs… and an IC… for a round :-D
Regarding playing through when things look bleak - agreed. Sometimes the writing is completely on the wall and there’s no point, but if there’s still a glimmer, the dice can always come back your way in a big battle - you never know.

yes scramble!!! I am pretty sure you can’t use them on planes so 1 kami for each destroyer. Hopefully I can get 1 :-D

Yes - surface ships only, so 6 destroyers is a good use of them. I figured 2 out of 6 hits when I used the battle calculator to get the 45%. Getting only 1 might be my salvation… getting 3 my doom!

This game has officially become strange. I won in SZ6, and lost a destroyer and fighter in SZ125 without killing your German destroyer.
It’s also a classic. Thanks for the battle - you’re really good with the Axis, and I think this one might go 25 turns, maybe more. The US looks like it’ll be showing up at some point again around the Caucasus area :-D

I have 3 other games going and in all the games I am getting hit by 40 - 50 % on 2’s. It is really quite frustrating!!! Especially when my 3’s and 4’s are only hitting at that rate.
Sorry I will quit complaining…… I just hate losing :-D

I read the results on the road today at work… man, it was ugly. It wasn’t just one battle, but a bunch.
If it makes any difference, I’m aware you’d be winning this game if the dice were equal.

By the way, about ten years ago I broke my hand punching a wall after horrible dice defending Moscow in A&A Europe… so getting mad over dice is in my blood too… :wink:
A&A is a strategy game with dice, not a dice game with strategy like Risk. Skill and planning should be the deciding factor… in theory :-)
