The first battle was a huge lesson for me in online play, and OOL.
If I was face to face with someone, and saw how the battle was shaking out, I never would have tipped carriers before losing fighters. Instead of the situation I’m in, I’d have 2 loaded carriers defending the zone, and a couple fighters scrambling.
Instead, you’ll be taking over initiative in the pacific, in a theater I have been controlling impressively, because I had no idea how the battle was going. It is a tough way to learn my lesson, but I’ve learned it: ask your opponent to spell out losses on both sides, every turn.

Ya again I thought you were following along on your side, when I’m doing a big battle(typically pacific fleet) I have a local game going and edit the results to have a first hand look of the battle as it progresses

as a side note I got alot of hits with my subs, so you may not have had the choice to not tip your carriers

There is no blame for you - I just haven’t played with big battles like this before when it comes to OOL. I usually learn my lessons the hard way, and honestly, I’m shocked I walked away from that last battle with my capital ships.

Also, I think both battles turned out to be odds - I ended the first battle with 13 remaining which was dead on, and you jikked two carriers, a destroyer, and two fighters with your smaller fleet… not bad in the big picture.
The waves of fleet you’re sending at me are impressive.

It’s like the last game we played and you killed all my transports lol I’ll remeber that med move forever. I figured I had to shake it up in the pacific, I was progressively losing ground economically
