  • Look, I’m a little confused. A moment ago the boats were in one place, the planes in the other.  I understand you were fixing your move, and that’s okay, but would like to have seen what happened in the first place and understand the fix.  I have to re-do Italy move at this point.

    Here is exactly what was MEANT to be:

    sz96 (tr, dd) attacked by CA sz91 + fgt Gib (mov 3, land in Mal)

    sz97 (CA, BB, no scramble) attacked by all sea units sz98 + tac sz98 (2mov, land in Mal) + bmb UK (5mov, land in Mal) + fgt Mal (2mov, land in Mal).

    Here is WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED:

    fgt from Gib went to sz97 and fgt from Malta didn’t even participate to combat…

    What was rolled with Triple A: just a CA for 2 rounds in sz96, and you hit on 2nd round.
    When i added the forum roll, the 1st round was a hit, so that would mean that your dd never did his hit on 2nd round against my cruiser, since it was destroyed in 1st round.

    Hope it’s more clear.

    If you wish, i can redo entirely the UK turn, after all, you can only be more lucky since you ended up doing no hit at all…

  • Hello Axisplaya - okay, my move is done. Actually better than before, so all good. When either of us edit in future, best to complete move, save/post, then change. That way the other person can see what did happen + what was intended = where we are now.

    I see that you attacked greece, and 2 sets of rolls for naval battles ?


  • You sent along a file, I opened it, moved your fighter and attacked. Posted the turn and discovered you had moved a cruiser and we talked all about the move you meant to make. Okay.

    I re-opened the corrected file with the cruiser. I wanted your ships dead, no longer had supreme confidence I could win the sea battle with the aircraft carrier, and that put attacking Greece in jeopardy.  So I instead focused my resources on your ships, skipped Greece and completed my turn (again).  And posted the results.  Play the version where I DID NOT take Greece.

    I didn’t realize once I hit attack that (a) there was an option to not scramble your fighters - figured it was automatic and (b) that I would not be able to send you the map. I apologize.

    ok, i understand that you only send a ss in sz109, so whether i scramble or not, that makes no difference since i can’t hit the ss with planes.

    I can only see 2 planes in UK with your map, but if you send all your planes in UK for Sbr, i will not send any interceptor.
