needless to say that was a very important italian turn and i needed them to act like italians, rather than ruthless sharpshooters.

i will be on vacation with not much internet access until end of july - any posting i do will be in games where the moves are easy or in which i am hopelessly ahead or behind.  in this one the moves are hard and i am hopelessly behind, and you have posted very slowly all along, so it will be resuming after i return.

why don’t i ever get those defenses where i hit 80% with 2’s and 100% with threes in big battles?  they sure make winning games like this a lot easier.
