why no soviet aircrafts?
US starting position?

doesnt it make sense to switch the battleship and the aircraft carrier in the pacific to make pearl harbor more realistic? You could take the fighter out or put it on Hawaii, it just seems really off. let me know what you think.
thnx

Remember, the game starts in the Spring of 1942, not Dec. 1941. Historically, the Spring of 1942 is the time of Axis maximum power and expansion…
-
Actually the game supposedly starts in the Spring of 1942. Pearl harbor was Dec 7, 1941. So its already happened. The game kinda reflects this with the AC left at Hawaii, and a Battleship on the U.S. West coast as if it was just launched from the shipyards/Docks.
Really a Japanese attack on the US fleet in in Hawaii on turn 1 is a second attack on Pearl Harbor.

Zero, I think we posted at the same time.

Technecly the game starts just before the battle of Midway, so if you want to be historicly correct Japan should occupy MIdway on there first turn.
then again, Japan did lose that battle -
Field Marshall, JINX!
Now you can’t post again until someone says your name.

ahh, i see … that makes more sense
thnx

isn’t Marshall from Field Marshall suppose to be spelled with only one ‘L’? Opps… I think I just broke the spell
