For the next few weeks we will be posting previews of the highly anticipated upcoming Axis & Allies Pacific 1940 game. Pacific 1940 will be release on December 15, 2009 but thanks (very much) to Avalon Hill and Wizards of the Coast, Axis & Allies.org has an advance review-copy of the game. I have a game scheduled on Sunday so until then, the reviews will be focused on the components of the game. Today's preview is 15 photos of the Japanese units and setup, the game boxes, the rule book, and the other bits such as the control markers, IC markers, AA markers, chips, and dice.
