@thethedew I don’t own the game, but I think the main point of it is that it is not WW2 based. This way the game has appeal to people who aren’t that interested in WW2.

Well, I do not know who you messaged, but whoever it is gave you bad information. I am currently play testing the new game right now with about 8 to 10 other gentlemen.
@crsluggo I think you are right about those carriers being Russian. If I were in their shoes, I’d reuse sculpts as well. They already have them, no need to re-invent the wheel.
I have my 7-foot long 1940 Global Map on pre-order. Looking forward to getting it so that when my son returns home from college in December, we can break it in and use it for the first time.
I actually have three tall square pub tables that when all put together, will fit this map on top.
