@thethedew I don’t own the game, but I think the main point of it is that it is not WW2 based. This way the game has appeal to people who aren’t that interested in WW2.

We played on the new Global map at GenCon and it was great! Too big to set it up at home, though. I’ll have to save it for tournaments. -
I have my 7-foot long 1940 Global Map on pre-order. Looking forward to getting it so that when my son returns home from college in December, we can break it in and use it for the first time.
I actually have three tall square pub tables that when all put together, will fit this map on top.
