Sorry Sir, I am just unsure about NCM. Can I fly over Shan State in NCM or FIC without DOW on France or UK?
Sorry for the delay, I am asking Gamerman about this and finish NCM then.I posted the map above. I would reconsider to fly air to Shan state if this would be possible. I am really not sure, I remember gamerman talking about TripleA wrongly denies air movement with Japan. But maybe this was during a turn where Japan declared war on France.
I would wait for Gamer (or you?) to respond on the rule question before proceeding.Cheers,
Tobiasp.s.: I had great dice at my air strike. 2 air above average survived. I’d say that one of those was a compensation for the yunnan disaster J1, the other one Japan has on top!

i don’t understand the rule question, the engine isn’t letting you land in Shan State at all? didn’t you send all of your planes to hit the Chinese stack, wouldn’t that be 5 movement to get to shan from there?

Siam is what I meant and what I assume you meant since you don’t control Shan State. Other than the plane you sent to Yunnan and I think 1 Tac left on the CVs I don’t think anything else can land in Siam. Are you talking about the 1 fighter not being allowed to fly over Shan state because you’re not at war?

Japan is free to fly over UK territories while Japan is still not at war with UK.
The reason is because the UK is at war, so is not neutral (because she is at war with Germany and Italy).
The only flyover issues you have to worry about are neutrals (including Russia while she is neutral on one map or the other) and China (special rule that Allies can’t fly over Chinese territories without being at war with Japan).
The rule about China does not work in reverse (Japan not being able to fly over UK) and is a common misunderstanding, which is why Triple A won’t allow it. The developer of Triple A was unaware of the proper application of the rules when programming.
It is in the game notes because I raised the issue with the developer, and he agreed that I am right. See “Help->Game notes” and look about half way down for this:
