Is there a misclick in that edit, I don’t see the change.
I ask because I had already downloaded and rolled dice.

Forgot to do the African walk-ins during combat moves, hope that edit is ok. If not, you can put them back. And you certainly lived up to your nickname in Algeria…. those were some of the worst defense dice I’ve seen in a coin flip fight. Sorry about that. Hopefully Southern France made up for it in some small way.
You actually did what I wanted u to do but got really hella lucky huh? Yeah im gonna deny those walkins you want to ask for that after getting so lucky… yeah right. We will see how the fleet battle in 92 goes first.
If you lose all your airforce in 92 you can have the walkins.
Bs dice like this game are why my record sucks
If alg had gone to odds I prolly woulda been fine allowing your combat walkins in noncom.
I am watching hocky so just post the correct map with no walkins for now. We can revisit after g2.
And next time you get that lucky in a critical battle try not to ask for extra combat walkins after the fact

Seriously?
Look, I can handle venting when the dice don’t go your way. Lord knows I do it too. I ended that battle up 2 from average, not a very big swing in a battle I had 60% on anyways.
I can handle the discourtesy of not allowing walk-ins. That is completely your prerogative and I can handle a discourteous game. I do not believe that courtesy should be contingent on outcomes as you suggest, but I am not going to force my beliefs on someone else.
What I will not stand for is being lectured in etiquette by a wannabe sarcastic schoolmarm looking down her nose at an aberrant child. If you wish to continue showing such blatant disrespect to a fellow human being, let me know and I will gladly concede this game and be on my way. I play this game for fun, not for the glory of winning, so I do not mind an extra loss on my record to be recused from a hostile situation. Ask around the boards and you will find that I am one of the nicest, most lenient people around and I do not feel like I need a lesson in etiquette and/or courtesy at this present juncture. Hell, I immediately apologized for the swing in luck. I took a chance starting a game with you even after seeing your history of conflict with others, please don’t make me regret that decision.
I would never ever have asked after such great luck in a crucial battle so I stand behind the point I made.
If you cant accept a conditional edit then I will just decline your request outright.
And if u dont think 2-3 extra italian aircraft in round 1 are a big deal then I would rather you just forfeited as well.
Ya know what im courteous to those who are courteous. I am a mirror to those I play. So if you want to pull bs like that be ready to be called out just like I called out cow and me1945.
You seem like you might be alright and I havent decided yet. But chill out there is no need to get so upset about a conditional edit. And if you honestly dont know how big that i1 battle was then I apologize. You just dont know the game so well and I wont hold that against you. So let me know if you forfeit or want to continue.
I would rather just play a “discourteous” game from the beginning cuz I never know when my opponent is gonna pull bs like me1945 did. You know? And though you were not necessarily supporting him you were being quite the politician about something that was pretty blatantly wrong regardless of what the rules say. So that admittedly already had me on guard against you. So to get so lucky and sort of admit it and then take it back is a little like… which is it you know? Real lucky or no big deal?

I am not upset by that, I have no problem with you denying the edit. If you had read what I typed it would be quite clear. I do not appreciate the arrogant, sarcastic, condescending attitude. I know this game quite well and your suggestion to the contrary further exacerbates the situation. Questioning someone’s knowledge or lecturing in proper protocol doesn’t strike you as condescending and inappropriate?
Yes, I realize how important that battle was. I also know that you don’t give an opponent a 60% chance in a pivotal battle and then complain and lecture when things turn out slightly better than average. I am more than willing to continue, but not in a hostile atmosphere. If the belittling attitude continues, I will be forced to resign.
dude, to suggest that a keeping three extra italian aircraft in I1 is no big deal is the most arrogant, sarcastic and condescending attitude i’ve seen in like 4 days. strike the three italian aircraft from the board and you can have your edit. if not, then i cannot allow the walkins to you because you had the benefit of seeing your great luck before making requesting the walkins. Now, for the guy who was trying to lecture me about how a player can game the system by supporting the rights of Me1945 - why don’t you take your own advice.
can you not understand the simple idea of getting really really lucky then asking for several edits of combat moves can come across as at least mildly chafing?

the fact that you then blow up start lecturing ME kindof belies some of your real colors, no matter how well you normally keep them veiled. you do care about winning, to suggest otherwise is pretty silly. i think you don’t want to admit that you got so lucky in a crucial crucial battle. but the fact that you get so lucky and then on top of it ask for a bunch of edits of COMBAT MOVES after dice are rolled, especially about the lecture i got from you in the Me thread, just put my guard up. if you can’t understand that then i don’t know what else to say.

“slightly better than average” there you go again.

First of all, I built the fighter in Southern Italy and took a fighter as a casualty in the fight to save a tank to prevent one French inf from being a hero on the comeback. That’s why there are 3 planes on the board. The average units I should have been left with was 2. I had 4, so I was up 2 after the fight. Well within the bounds of probability.
I concede this game, best of luck to you in your future endeavors.
