We do. My weakness is the allies coming after Germany. I give up ground in Europe to try to keep Russia back. In my game against Roboto, it’s like the reverse. He’s given up ground against Russia to keep western allies back from Europe. I think that’s worse in the long run because my Russia is very close to being more powerful than him. Germany will be going into turn 5 and the Germany stack will have to stay in Baltic or park in Leningrad and will be stuck.
However, he’s been getting ridiculous defense dice. (Remember my Yunnan 11 guys only got 2 pathetic hits…what do you feed your troops?) His Iraqi neutrals threw 4 hits. Just now 3 Italian (1 art 2 inf) defended against 6 US ground (98% chance win with 4 units left for the US) and he had 1 ground remain. Outliers like that is slowing me down. Mr. Roboto is pretty good overall (better than me) and went wild with Italy. He has Cairo, and will for a long time due to the Algeria 2% chance defense win he just had.

We do. My weakness is the allies coming after Germany. I give up ground in Europe to try to keep Russia back. In my game against Roboto, it’s like the reverse. He’s given up ground against Russia to keep western allies back from Europe. I think that’s worse in the long run because my Russia is very close to being more powerful than him. Germany will be going into turn 5 and the Germany stack will have to stay in Baltic or park in Leningrad and will be stuck.
However, he’s been getting ridiculous defense dice. (Remember my Yunnan 11 guys only got 2 pathetic hits…what do you feed your troops?) His Iraqi neutrals threw 4 hits. Just now 3 Italian (1 art 2 inf) defended against 6 US ground (98% chance win with 4 units left for the US) and he had 1 ground remain. Outliers like that is slowing me down. Mr. Roboto is pretty good overall (better than me) and went wild with Italy. He has Cairo, and will for a long time due to the Algeria 2% chance defense win he just had.
Mr Roboto is quite a good player indeed; playing a G40 with him in league and it’s quite the dog fight! That’s why I always stack Yunnan, just in in case Japan has a blunder :-P It sure helps the allies short term!
I think you are a very methodical player and sure are a tough player to overcome in A&A! It’s like playing a chess game everytime.
