      go here for a list of all cards and units from Set I - Eastern Front:  http://aaminis.myfastforum.org/about3898.html&highlight=
      Bookmark that link b/c you will use it often, trust me.

      I’m not sure why they stopped at Eastern Front but the 2 latest sets, Early War and Counter Offensive should make it up there sometime.

      Not a bad start!  You could field a decent British/Commonwealth army with what you have there.  You are a little short on AFV’s(armored fighting vehicles) but if you keep scrounging ebay you should find some good deals.  I have also ordered some custom made units from this guy:  http://www.gamodls.com/  He is an independent seller and has a nice selection of units for the major powers, including some units not covered in A&A and most of his stuff is $4 a piece.  I would recommend hitting any local gaming stores in your area, I have found D-Day and Contested Skies boosters for ~$10 when they are selling online for $25-$30 each.  A single Higgin’s landing craft can sell for $40+!!!  I have 4 now but only got 1 from a booster and traded for the rest.  Good Luck!

      @onetthome:

      That’s a sick map, dude. How do you put that thing away when you’re done though?!

      Very carefully  :-D  I have a couple shallow storage bin that works real well.

      @basebalp21:

      Do you not recommend getting a 1939-1945 booster?

      Yes, I would also get 39-45 boosters.  Lot’s of good units in that set from early to late war.  Sorry, forgot to mention that one.

      no, the V1 mini’s are still good.  They are just a bit out of scale compared to the larger V2’s.
      As far as what booster packs to buy?  IMO you should start w/ some North Africa and Eastern Front Boosters if you are into mid war.  Buy Early war for…you guessed it, early war period(not my fav).  If you can manage to find boosters from Base Set I, Base Set II, Contested Skies or D-Day you will want to pick those up if they are priced reasonably.  They can be pretty much impossible to find at an affordable rate.  ebay is a good place for singles, try to buy inexpensive lots w/ a diverse amount of common/uncommons from different sets as you will want multiples of these anyway.  Counter Offensive is the latest booster and is in stock pretty much anywhere online.  Extra maps can be tricky to find, I have resorted to making my own terrain instead(pictured).  Hope that helps!

      I realize this is a bit late but was wondering if you still had those units available for sale?

      I’m gonna give this one a shot.  I am short a couple pieces on each side but I have 4 cases enroute this week and next so I should be able to put it together by then.  I’ll post the AAR once I’m finished.  ~Youngstown

    • RE: Best 100pt army

      Here’s a German Urban Assault unit I put together and won with last night against a mechanized UK/AUS/CAN force.

      SS-Haupsturmfuhrer x1
      SS-Panzergrenadier x2
      Wehrmacht Vet. Infantryman x1
      Panzerfaust x1

      Sturmpanzer IV “Brummbar” x1
      Sd Kfz 222 x1
      Panzer II (F) “Flamingo” x1

      Junkers JU 87G Stuka x1

      It worked out pretty well even though my mobility was somewhat lacking.  I was able to entrench vehicles and infantry in and around the obj hex(which was dense city hexes) before he could bring a sizable force to dislodge me in 1 turn.  I won the match with the Brummbar, Haupsturmfuhrer, panzerfaust and Sd Kfz 222 still alive and undamaged.  The only enemy unit left was an Aussie cmdr.

    • Question about a special ability

      I am looking for some clarification of this ability, any help would be great.  The question is, can any friendly unit within 4 hexes of an enemy unit act as a spotter for units with the Indirect Fire ability or is there a specific spotter type unit?  Thx    ~Youngstown

      I disagree because I think people born in the twenties deserve to be called the greatest generation. People who were born in the 30’s didn’t fight in WW2 except for the Hitlerjugend.

      You are right Fox, it should be 1920’s not 30’s. How embarassing! :oops:

      Even if the game got horrible reviews and everyone hated it I still would have gotten it. I couldn’t sleep at night knowing that there was an A&A game out there that I didn’t have! :o
