@Gargantua
Kamikaze strikes hit before any Combat and before any Amphibious Assault. As soon as US ships enter the sea zone, before anything happens Japan rolls his attacks. A Kamikaze prevents only offshore bombardment. It doesn’t start a sea combat. So after the rolls sub can still be ignored.

RE: National Objectives - Germany - Page 36.
@Krieghund Thanks, but then they should have worded it: controls any of these territories. In this way It is like if I was saying to you: in order the bake a cake You need Eggs, Strawberry, and/or Cinnamon.

@oysteilo Thanks, I don’t understand the and/or conjungtions. Explain please.

National Objectives - Germany - Page 36.
Theme: High Strategic and Propaganda Value.
It is not clear what is happening here. Wording and punctation is messy, the conjunctions “and/or” at the end doesn’t help either. It states:
5 IPC per territory if Germany controls (1)Novgorod, (2)Volgograd, and/or (3)Russia.As it is put here to me they are “chained”:
first interpretation is
You control 1, 2, and 3 (you get 15 IPC with the and conjunction)second interpretation is
You control 1, 2, or 3 (you get 10 IPC with the or conjunction - 1,2 - 1,3)Please send me a thoughtful and logic answer. Think about the conjunctions in the end (and/or) even if you are telling me that they can be conquered separately, explain the why of the conjunctions.
Thank you and Regards. -
Damaged Warships can Offshore Bombard?
One rule present in Global but not in WW1 1914. Can Battleships make an offshore bombardment if they are damaged? Thanks and Regards.

RE: They can't call it Axis & Allies!
Eight years later your post I have the game box here on my laps.
It says WWI 1914 and A&A game. So they didn’t really call it Axis and Allies. The game is super cool and since I am a great fan of the The Great War I have to say that I enjoy it even more than the other ( so far I have playes only anniversary). Kind regards. Meerko -

Amphibious Assault
It’s not clear to me how airborne participate in an Amphibious Assault.
In the Anniversary Edition 2017,
Pag. 17 it is said that in sea combat whether surface enemy warships are presents all sea units and air units MUST participate in the battle.Pag.18 referring to the air units the rule states that: each attacking air units may participate in the sea battle or the coastal territory. It cannot do both.
Since the movement of the airplanes is fixed, I don’t understand how this could be possible.
Any help in understanding?Thank you all. Regards.
