That’s a pretty noticeable improvement in scale quality. I assume you’re now using some sort of bicubic or sin based filtering in your scaling algo? Also, a suggestion would be to allow more than 100% zoom.
Subs rolling separately is a minor issue in low luck games. If you have 1 ss 1 dd 2 bb against a fleet with a dd–the total punch is 12, but it’s quite possible to only get 1 hit. It would be an improvement if subs are lumped in with the gross total in that scenario (eg only if the enemy has a dd that negates the surprise shot).
has been added to TripleA as a playable map. So no more edits required.
As the development process is still ongoing there is no version control at the moment.
So you will not be prompted to update the map called World War II v5 Second Edition.
To download the latest release including the new Setup simply remove your installed v5-map from within the “Download maps” dialogue, close the “Download maps” dialogue, reopen it and redownload the map.
This way you will always get the latest map-version (regardless whether you have been prompted about an update or not).
When downloaded choose the alternative setup as shown in the attached screenshot.
