• Can fighters scramble out of London if the British fleet is attack right off the coast by the German Air Force?

  • No, UK isn’t considered an island for game play, so it can’t scramble.

Correct. although you might consider allowing scrambling into the Straits of Dover especially. I mean, why didn’t the Germans invade prior to trying to take out the RAF? Exactly, because their invasion feelt would have been way to vulnerable to air attcak! ( which in A&A strangely enough can’t happen on Germany’s turn).

(Yes, I know the Germans ALSO had a shortage of vessels…)

  • The reason that Germany wasn’t able to invade England was that England had a fleet blocking the war. Remove the fleet and they can indeed make it across to invade.

Sure, but they were also hell bent on taking out the RAF prior to launching an invasion. The fleet is never really a problem in A&A unlike reality…

Naturally, the RAF would have attacked an invasion fleet without any doubts, which is why Sea Lion was called off.
