    Just to elucidate (the validity of) the RAF attack if you wonder, how the procedure in sz 5 could be managed:

    a) I buy a carrier.
    b) I declare, the carrier will be mobilized in sz 6.
    c) Now two brit fgts from Russia can depart and attack in sz 5: the carrier to be mobilized guarantees a valid landing spot in sz 6.
    d) In the course of the battle both brit fighters were destroyed, a landing spot in sz 6 isn’t required any more.
    e) The bought carrier can be mobilized in sz 35.

    (see also rule book, p.26: ‘Likewise, if you declared that a new carrier will be mobilized to provide a safe landing zone for a fighter,
    it must be mobilized in that sea zone unless the fighter has landed safely elsewhere or has been destroyed.’)
