• @Guerrilla:

Germany… extreely intruiging and tons of dough! although I like Britain alot because it has min cash and tons of options…

    GG

I am with GG. I voted Germany, just because I love the challenge, and when your sucessful, its a glorious feeling.

  • I agree with the OP, Japan and the UK are the most fun IMO, though I picked Japan because I play them more.

  • I like Japan because you can do so much with them and can counter what the Allies throw at you. I like having the option of conducting a sea or a land strategy as the Japanese player. I seem more constrained with the other countries.

I do like playing Russia too… for the opposite reason. Nobody like playing them and I love the challenge of trying to be creative with such a burden of playing defense. If I can get some help from the US and UK, I can turn some energy on making the Japanese player’s life miserable. :-)

  • I never knew so many people liked Japan. From all the posts, my guess would have been Germany.

  • Nobody likes US eh?

  • Love playing Japan-you seem like an underdog agaisnt an overconfident US often (in my Tabletop group), though you have SO many options and play a MASSIVELY critical role in Germany’s survival.

  • United Kingdom 8) , for some reason, its always uk who does the D-day

  • USA, i love having enough money, and being so far away from my enemies that i can just sit back and build immense forces. :D

  • MISSING THE POINT!!! To be the best A&A player, all of the countries must be the best!!!

Think of each country as your mortal enemy, Ally or Enemy. Every Axis player has three goals; Washington D.C., London, and Moscow. And every Allied player has two goals; Tokyo, and Berlin. Think of it as a race and you’ll see that the game will go in your direction. A&A is all about the Moolaa $$$. You don’t have the Moolaa, your donefor. So the more territories you take, the stronger you are. Darwin’s principle.

  • somehow i do like the axis most.
Sometimes japan, since it has a lot of possibilities and is often underrated ;-) (at least for one! game)
the other day i prefer germany having major tank battles or harassing the atlantic.

    anyway each country is good.
only russia is a bit to thin with possibilites for me.

  • Germany. ALWAYS :D

  • Japan is the easiest country to hold on to and win with. She has in the pacific, two carriers and at least three planes to escort those carriers on turn 1! The only way it can lose is if German capitulates first!

  • you can actually manage 4 planes :)

  • USSR, read my name!

  • ussr should get more money, in reality, they massivly outproduced germany, thats how they won.

    USA KICKS BUTT!!!

  • If you are going by historical accounts than the german infantry would attack at 3 and the it would take 3 russian infantry to get a defensive dice of 1.

It is estimated that between 10 to 15 Russians died for every German that died.

I voted for germany. The key to allied victory is through Berlin. Just like in the real war.

  • Japan or Russia.

Japan tends to be underestimated, and can easily expand across Europe if it’s lucky.

Russia is right in the middle of the action, and it tends to have some really big battles.

I agree, just give germany more units.

  • I feel russia is now a much more playabec outnry and less restricted and has much more options jsut like the axis and allies europe game anyone agree?

  • for sure … I would think it has a lot to do with the way eastern europe and russia is now divided … It gives a much better gameplay. On the original edition the eastern front was just a slab of land that did not make much sense.
