Thanks guys.  But why is it when planes that are defending when are from an AC. If the AC is destroyed or damaged.  The planes are only allowed to move one space and takes two moves to get to an island or land in most cases.

That sounds about right.  But i think 2 inf. would suffice along with 1 fighter and 1 tac. bomber.

I remember reading in a post that someone said that Wotc told them that they are sending him some additional tac. bombers.  I have not heard if he had gotten them or not thou.

My question is about Islands.  The rules do not specify that it cost one movement for planes to go from island to the sea zone surrounding the island or island chain.  I’ve been playing with the notion that it costs one movement to go from the island to the surrounding sea zone for taking off or landing.  Any insight would be much appreciated.  :-)

I’m not sure.  But I think the one Larry would do is the Gencon which is in August I believe. :-(

I didn’t realize that he was someone that just took a picture.  I was under the impression that he worked for avalon hill or something to that effect.

Well, going back to the original topic.  I think that US income will not be split.  I think that the western US will stay at 10 ipc.  And the Eastern US will be be the big money maker.

I believe Field Marshal Games are already taking pre-orders.  I believe that they started taking them as soon as the Pacific theater was released.  Hope that helps you out.  :-)

Well isn’t it a little early to start complaining about something that we don’t have information on yet :?  I would say its safe to make an assumption that Germany will be strong right off the bat.  This being said after seeing the Japanese setup.  But I would say the German setup will probably land units than air units.  That would be my guess.

Well were about six months out till the release.  Squirecam is their any chance that you can hook us up with a sneak peek of the map like you did last time with the pac. map.  Pretty please :-D

I just wanted to let you know that I did start painting my pieces finally.  I’m painting the set from the AAP 1940 set.  The paints I’m using are not as nice as your warhammer paints.  But it is a start.  I’ve started with the American units.  I will be posting pics of my progress in the AAP 1940 forum.  I just thought you would like to know so you can follow my progress.  Look forward to reading your thoughts on my work.

That sounds nice but hard to implement.  You are better off going after Hawaii.  It is a better strategic place to go.  Plus you can wipe out the forces on Hawaii with few losses.  It just doesn’t seem like a good strategy imo.

I’ve only played two games so far.  And China is weak.  But not overly to weak.  I don’t think they could hold their own.  But as long as UK is in the fight.  Then they are a viable fight force (especially when you keep the Burma road open).  If China does well the first 2 or 3 rounds then Japan has a problem because they’ll have US breathing down neck.
