Craig Yope since you do you have a play test version of the Europe map can you tell us your thoughts on the map at least.  I can deal with not seeing the map (I will see it soon enough).

The non-aggression treaty is in place for the Pacific edition which is stated in the rule book.

Hi everyone.  Just had a question about the US.  In the rules it states that the US can attack Japan only if a declaration of war is made to Japan.  My question is at what point of the turn of the US is this made.  I’m guessing that its made at the beginning of the turn before the buying phase.

Welcome to the forums.  There is a place online called http://www.gametableonline.com that you could play other people for a fee.  It is the revised edition of AA.  Hope that is what you are looking for.

I also agree.  The addition of tac. bombers and mec. inf. is cool.  Plus all the other changes to the game are good.  Which add a whole new realm of realism to the game.  Two cheers to Larry and his crew to another great axis and allies game.  :-D

I think airbases are very useful.  Having an extra movement point is huge.  Plus the ability to land on islands.  Also they give you the scramble ability.  So yes airbases are very important.

Just to update the thread.  I did get the new AAP1940.  I’m also painting the pieces if that entices anyone.  :?  Boy I can not believe that I’m the only one in Rochester that plays this game.  :-o

Why do we have to so spread out.  :-(  I live in Rochester, NY just down the way from you. But that would be a big roadie.  And yes my fellow jedi brother I’m an adult 33.  Just got my AAP40 and love it.  I’m in the process of painting my pieces.  :-)  I wish I had bought AA50 I had it in my hands and put it down and got revised (what a mistake).  I do like revised but AA50 is so much better.  Been kicking myself ever since. :-D
