My brother and I are currently in the middle of round 2 of Europe 1940. We don’t have any tables available, so we are playing on top of a dresser. It sticks over about six inches on each end, but it works! With a lot of sticky puddy.

@FMErwinRommel I think that would be a good rule too. It makes more sense if you want to be as accurate as possible.

I’ll have to try that too! It would be harder in person, but could probably be done if everyone kept a paper log of what units they have in each territory. Maybe.

That’s an interesting idea. I guess that way, you can’t see every attack coming, which would make it more realistic.

Hello everyone. I had introduced myself before, but had to redo my account, and it got deleted I guess.
I am from Missouri. I have been playing Axis and Allies for a few years now. I only recently started trying to get better at strategy. I usually play with my brother, but sometimes with a friend too. I have only played A&A 1942, but just got the 1940 global and am excited to play that. I haven’t done much with customizations or house rules, but would like to eventually.

I will definitely check out the 1939 setup. I would like to try setting up my own varients sometime, but at this point don’t really have the ability to do that.

I was curious if there is a way to set up the 1942 board for 1940 (or even 1941)? I searched online, but couldn’t find anything.
