since the population has little fear of war compared to Europe, the people would undoubtedly support such a war by a majority or at least 50/50.

i didnt read every post but this comment just makes me laugh.
Japan doesnt want to go to war. The state in their constitution that they will never attack only out of selve defense. The 100 Japanese military are there just to do reconstruction and are portected by the dutch in the region. Only This has caused an criticism. I dont know why you think Japan would gladly go into a war and double their army? Yes some politicians want to lose that law. but i dont see this happening any time soon. They may alter it to assist in peacekeepers, but joining a war i dont think so.

They can withdraw men from S-Korea, Germany, Japan but i think this is already done.
oh and if the US doesnt attack unilateral all the time it wont need this much troops.

If you are planning the SBR against NJ then please confine the attack
to all areas south of East Rutherford so as not to leave the Jets (and Giants ) without a stadium!

      So…
If they are not allowed to not support the system yet still use parts of it…

seperate issue. 1st, its the opposite from the offset (onset? i dont know, you get the point). i support the system they do not (the respective systems that is).
2nd, protesting the use of oil, than using a diesel powered boat, which is not simply powered by diesel, but uses mass quantities of it, to protest drilling is inherently hypocritical.
3rd, my being pissed off if the downside of my system occurred to me does not change my support of it, it simply pisses me off. supporters of the current legal system could be wrongly imprisoned and/or summarily executed, yet they may not stop supporting the system because of it.
4th, I take it that at this point, you know what i mean, and i honestly cannot believe you would couldnt see this

Little bit old news, but still funny all the same.

      @A:

ISSAQUAH, Washington – A man was coaxed out of his home by police
after he pulled a gun and shot his personal computer, apparently in
frustration. “We don’t know if it wouldn’t boot up or what,” Sgt. Keith Moon
said Thursday. The computer, in a home office on the second floor of the
townhouse, had four bullet holes in the hard drive and one in the monitor.
One bullet struck a filing cabinet, while another made it through a
wall and into a neighboring unit. No one was hurt. Police evacuated the
complex, contacted the 43-year-old man by telephone and got him to come
out. He was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.

Without Oil, sure Saudi Arabia wouldn’t have one of the most brutal Governments in the world, but the whole region might become like East Africa.

As of this morning the database is taking up 78919787 bytes. That would be 75MB. That is for a medium amount of posting and not purging any messages.

There are several bulletin board forum software packages out there. I just happen to use phpBB. Most all of them support the popular free DBs such as MySql and Postgresql. Postgresql is supior to MySql because it supports stored functions and transaction rollbacks.

For the allied side I could see the U.S. South Korea, and maybe the U.K.
There is a chance that China would send “volunteers” to help North Korea.

For the second question that would be hard to say both Koreas would be hurt although the North would probably be hurt more cause of U.S. Air Power!

For the third question I would have to say it would depend. If on the battlefield maybe, Seoul or U.S. soil YES we would respond in kind!!

I have not made up my mind on this issue. I do not believe that a simply payment justifies 400 years of bondage that my ancestors had to undergo before me. Nor to I expect every Afro American to receive millions of dollars in payment, especially those like the Tigers Woods or Michael Jordans who already maintain the highest standard of living. If any reparations are to be made, it should be made to the improvised blacks growing up in the ghettos and the cruel injustices they had to face. Of course, even from my pro-reparation friends, the means of setting up a government operated system seems hazy at best.
