  • to secure peace is to prepare for war?
    something like that?

  • A famous line used to be . . .

    “Peace through superior firepower.”

However, I believe it would better said . . .

“Peace through the proper use of superior firepower.(BOOM!)”

    - Xi

  • FDR took 12 years + to get the US out of the Depression.
 ,WRONG! FDR used socialism/communism(CCC & WPA) to keep us occupied.
As a matter of fact, WWII got the US out of the Depression. - Xi

  • Yanny, why do you like Clinton so much?

WW2 would have come with any president who would not bend over for the Japanese

Also remember that FDR suspended habeus Corpus in order to practice racism. No wonder who ever likes him likes him

    He didn’t go far enough.

  • Who ever said I liked Clinton? I just hate Reagan. Horrible President.

  • Reagan wasn’t that bad of a president. He actually did a lot to help this country.

  • Why was Reagan so horrible? Or was that just an accusation to toss out there?

  • Yea, seems that way to me Jazz… :D

  • Reagan didn’t do anything. He cut taxes, that had to be done and any Republican would of. He spent hundreds of billions of dollars on the military. He empowered radical Muslim groups to fight against the Soviets, who we are fighting today. He put the most Propoganda against the Soviets since WWII.

He was a lot like President W Bush. Horribly radically conservative.

  • @Yanny:

He was a lot like President W Bush. Horribly radically conservative.

That’s beats a horribly radical liberal anyday.

  • I’m a M-O-D-E-R-A-T-E, you know people I’d think would make or made great Presidents?

    JFK
    His brother Robby…
    Jimmy Carter
    Bush Sr.
    Colin Powell
    Rudy!
    John Mccain
    Bob Dole

Bad Presidents? Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Clinton’s second term.

  • John McCain,
better known as Senator ‘I’ll beat this non-issue dead horse until I ride it
into the Winner’s Circle’(referring to campaign finance reform[CFR]which
shows up consistantly at #16 or 17 in the most important issue polls).
The man who the Democrats tried to open primary into Algore’s opponent.

Still waiting on the Clinton Defense.
What? Is he being impeached again? :P

Hey, who took my post and reposted? Real funny, Guest. If you’ve
got a point of view post it! - Xi

  • Reagan scared the crap out of the USSR, not to mention the
Democrats. Look it up under ‘vilify’ in the Democrat handbook
    since 1981. :P - Xi

Regarding his presidency . . .We’ll never know. - Xi
