Hi Guys

I was wondering has anybody here played Combat Commander Europe or Tide of Iron ? These games look interesting to me but hoped I could get some feedback from anybody here that has played these two games.

hey guys, thanks for all the replies. I just picked up AA42 and AAPacific 1940, the aa 42 board is a little small ( comapred to the anniv. edition and pacific 40 )

Now I need to start coming here to catch up on things in the world of AA

I have a question though, Its possible to have games with other members over the net right? I see there is a forum here on that subject? ( sorry I haven’t really read too much on that yet ) exactly how does that work? you just email your moves back and forth? or use a instant messenger of some sort? again I will read more on this as I go but maybe somebody can give me a general idea on how its done?

Also I asked a question a few years ago here asking if there is a way to play by yourself, like working on strategy and such but was wondering again if there is a way to play by yourself using a pc program that can generate moves? I guess thats what a pc strategy game is for huh?,lol

I own all the Axis and allies games and have decide to pick up A&A 1942 and A&A pacific 1940, Is pacific a updated version of the original pacific, and why is a&a spring 1942 so cheap? its at my game shop for $35 canadian and pacific is $80

Since moving into my new house a few months ago I just unpacked my AA games and remembered this site ( havent been on in months ) and was reading the forums here and was wondering if anybody can explain Abattlemap to me? what is it and what does it do? I tried doing a search putting the phrase " what is A battlemap but only pull up a few topics that dont fully explain it. Any help on explaining it would be great

hey guys

just wondering if anybody still has any of these little green guys, do you still collect them? just did some cleaning out of a closet and found some containers of them, I had a piece of paper with the total of them in there too. I have 2250 green and grey ( tan also ) guys and about 30 tanks with assorted planes and pup tents. funny how these cheap little pieces of plastic were,lol

Yeah it didnt look right for the first 10 minutes, I was almost already to pack it up and send it back but eventually figured it out. I may still call on Monday to ask them what the deal was? It does say on the back of the box that colors may vary but this was quite a weird deal

yeah I got all the pieces but my chinese pieces are red for some reason( I only have red infantry )  like I mentioned before Its says “CH” on the red, “AM” on the green, “JA” on the brown, “BR” on the tan pieces
