How can I run an A&A tournament/leage ?

I was just wondering if anyone know of any tournaments that take place in the DC Metro area? I’d really like to try one out, but am not able to go to GenCon or anything like that.

I’m in Tyler Texas.

I have cut-and-pasted the great answers in that other thread and will work on arranging them in some coherent fashion in a Word doc.

I could probably guess…but someone define exactly the “ignore Japan” strategy and the “Polar Express” counter-strategy and which game(s) they apply to, please.

That’s pretty much what I’m getting… 2 sets of all the pieces, 1 set of chips, and control markers. I frequently run out of markers for Japan, Germany, and Russia sometimes.

Fairly sure it works on 98 huh? Not very well likely!! Dug out my old CD’s and wanted to play…the UNPATCHED A&A works fine…(well, still buggy) but when I apply the patch or try to play IB, I get to the “NETSTAT” screen and my comp locks down requiring a hard boot!! Ah the joys!! Seriously though, if anyone knows how to get it to work on 98 let me know!! Thanks!
