Probably because its based on a time frame. If you have inf with these landings then they have established a landing. Maybe both sides suck at hitting.
I like where attacking art and tanks get no 1st round attacks and attacking ships bombardment hit art and or a motorized unit first. If non then a inf.
Also when there is a landing most Inf won’t be on the beachhead. They’ll be dug in further back.
Carrier and Plane Movement
-
When I play, me and my friends move the carrier first, then launch planes off of that to attack. In our eyes its just seems more realistic but I would like to know what everyone else thinks about it.

I agree with you but you have to make others changes.
- If a carrier move 1 space it must stay there to take back fighters after the attack. (carrier cannot move anymore)
- Fighters cannot move no more than 2 spaces during the combat move phase.
In fact, after the battle, your fighter must return on one of your own carrier.
If you lost all your carrier, you lost your plane! (Of course, you can land on an island under your control). - You cannot use allies carrier during a battle. ( Your fighters cannot land on allies carrier when they return from a mission)
(You can land on allies carrier only during non combat move). - you must add air supremacy rules…it’s a must if you looking for a real carrier/fighters action.

Thank you for the tips. I’ll play it this way and post back. I have a game planned for this weekend so it shouldn’t be long.
