@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.
Simply AWESOME

I love how the terrain looks so real! I want to make that but im sure it’ll cost a lot to do that. That and time.
-
I don’t know if it’ll cost that much - it looks to me like the stuff they sell in hobby shops for making terrain for say, a train set. They’ll sell you little molds of rocks, acrylic beads that you can melt down to make clear water, etc. etc. The time, however, is quite involved. :|

Are those GHQ hex tiles?

An time = money, therefore the cost is too high
The terrain does look great, but then the models look a little out of place.I suppose they could be painted and such too, but I really don’t have that kind of time. If I ever did do it, it would probably just be for a display piece.

Anyone else see endless expansion set possibilities for Wizards of the Coast to release terrain sets like these on hex tiles?

No, it looks neat, but I wouldn’t buy them.
