  • Snake - clarification on SZ95.

    I had it done to me in the XDAP tournament, and it’s how I learned about it. If a carrier could even possible get through, even if it is a one in a million chance, a fighter can attack. So the sub attacking SZ92 allowed the possibility (no matter how remote) of a carrier getting through if I had won.

    I recognize it is a rule that feels strange (even as the one pulling it off), but it is allowable. On the flip side, I had to lose a fighter and sub to do it, so it did have a consequence for me.

    while unusual, this move is perfectly legal. I learned it from Krieghund-aka Kevin Chapman- (look on your A&A rulebook, you’re gonna find his name) on this forum, in the old FAQ section of the G40 forum.
