There’s also Dogs of War, you can add more, modify IP value and change loyalties of every territory and even modify or add new sea zones. You can even change the unit allocation, add more or less pieces, whatever. I even changed the sound effects on mine…. The AI is bit on the weak side though, but its still fun.

Why was version one changed? Also what is “commander and chief” part of version one. and how were amphibious assaults different?

Ouch I would had to find myself finding a combined Allied force. But how about USA and British joining forces like they did in the war? Or would this stil unbalance the game too much (ie D-Day)?

I think that’d way unbalance the game too, because German and Japanese forces could only use the rules late in the game when they’d basically already won–they link up only very late…
