At the moment the only two games I dont have in my collection are AA WWI and AA 1942 second edition. I am thinking about getting one of them but dont know which one to get  :? Im thinking I should get WWI as I have the first edition of 1942

Any thoughts would be great

I have all the versions of AA except 1941 and 1914. I was thinking about picking up 1941 because I saw it at the shop for $50. Is this a good price for it? from what I have read ( kind of been out of the AA scene for a while ) is that its geared for more newcomers to the game? I just wanted to ask here before I went and bought it. I dont know how much playtime it will get but more or less just keeping the collection up to date.

I thinki when I bought those it was the “Oh cool, you can do everything” factor but when applied to a video game it proved to be boring and not all that much fun. The manuals for the game were massive. I think I tried but just had more fun playing something like zoo tycoon,lol

I have had these two game sitting on my shelf for a while now ( have had the games a couple years ) and I was wondering if anybody here has or currently plays them? They do look somewhat overwhelming. I dont know if anybody here has done any reviews for the games

I have been playing through the game and have just run into a problem

The problem is when I go to place new units I get a box that pops up and says “error unable to place units” and it basically freezes up the game as I cant click on the menu to exit it. Has anybody else seen this? it hasn’t happen until now which is dozens of turns into the game.

Hi Guys

Aside from out love of axis and allies I was wondering what other hobbies you guys enjoy?

I have been into model railroading since I was a kid and am still today, havent done alot on the layout in a few weeks though :-P but usually always doing something on the layout or building some sort of kit

Also am very into Military history, so I do alot of reading and going to Military museums and watching military shows and documentaries.

And of course I am a HUGE baseball ( and sports for that matter ) fan.  Playing it, watching it, playing the video games and of course fantasy baseball  :-P pretty much anything baseball for me.

Im about to get A&A europe 1940 tomorrow and I will now have all the axis and allies board games. But my question is where do you guys store them? right now mine are in the basement in plastic totes and although it’s not damp down there I got to thinking maybe I can throw in some silica packets to keep out any remaining moisture but dont know where to find them, the ones that I do have I found in the box of new shoes I got, but cant find a store that sells them

Any Ideas?

I have a question that I think applies to all versions of A&A. I dont have many buddies anymore that play A&A and I have all the games and was wondering is there a way to play them by myself?

Like for instance is there a program ( Dont know if Triple A is this ) that will let me do my moves on the actual game board then enter them into the program and have the pc decide on another countries move? dont know if anything like this exists
