@aequitas-et-veritas they aren’t being sent to join a certain combat. They are staying with the fleet (with no enemy ships present) not fighting in the landing battle. Are you sure they are allowed to move in the combat step?

Protecting the transports with aircraft, in an amphibious landing, from scrambles.
The only way to add planes to the defense of your fleet (as the attacker) if the defender scrambles during an amphibious assault, is to have a carrier present correct? I cannot fly planes to a sea-zone where there may not be any combat during the combat move, unless there is a carrier coming too? Or is even that not allowed?

RE: Latest FAQ and Errata for global.
@krieghund what is with these "TM"s (highlighted) in your post? I take it I simply ignore them?
Thanks

RE: Latest FAQ and Errata for global.
@panther I have to print off these new rule books and go through them comparing them line by line with my copies to work out what has changed? is that the only option?
You guys must have a thread here where every change is discussed? -
RE: Latest FAQ and Errata for global.
@panther said in Latest FAQ and Errata for global.:
Of course there have been changes compared to the rulebooks shipped with the games back in 2012. Those changes have been communicated here via this forum.
There’s no one thread in which these changes have been logged?

RE: Latest FAQ and Errata for global.
@panther I have 2nd edition rule books. I don’t want to download something that is possibly identical to what I have. So there have been no changes since the 2nd ed rule books were released?
Thanks -
Latest FAQ and Errata for global.
I’m hosting my first game of A&A 1940 Global, 2nd ed, in quite a few years, and just want to check I’m up to date with errata etc. Is there a dedicated thread here I should go to? Or a place where an official file can be downloaded?
Thanks :) -

1940 Pacific component breakdown
Hey all,
I’m selling my copy of first ed 1940 Pacific as I now have second ed. Unfortunately I’ve mixed extra units (I bought separately to either copy) in with the first edition. Does anyone have a breakdown of the individual units in Pacific 1940? i.e how much infantry does every country come with, how much artillery etc?
If anyone is wondering why I just don’t send away the same number of units as are present in my 2nd ed copy, well I got that second hand, and it doesn’t have all the units it should (along with some interesting extras from other A&A games and other war games lol). So I do need to keep as many of my extra units I added to the first Ed as possible.
Thank you
Jonny

Looking at it briefly, I have no idea how you get a winning team. Tis not obvious…
