Okay here’s the thing. I totally understand wanting an OFFICIAL answer, but if you ask the question on a forum where there are more people than just you on, you can’t get mad when people discuss their inerpritation. You’ve also gotta realize Krieg has stuff to do besides living in a forum so it might take awhile. If nothing you should be happy that it sparked discussion because if nobody said anything and we “just waited for krieg” like you said multiple times it might’ve got buried under other stuff. I’m not trying to be a jerk but like I said this IS a forum. The official answer will come eventually.

The United States may not declare war on Japan unless Japan first declares war on it or makes an unprovoked declaration of war against the United Kingdom or ANZAC.  However, if the United States is still not at war with Japan by the Collect Income phase of its third turn, it may declare war on Japan at that time.  Representing a switch from a peacetime to wartime economy, the American player collects an additional 40 IPCs.  This wartime economy takes effect during the first U.S. turn in which it is at war with Japan, regardless of the event that triggered the state of war.

Not making one and nobody needs one. They finally are making maps the correct size these days. No need for some ridiculous 20 foot map.

70 inches is almost 6 feet. Its stupid to need anything larger than that.

The only reason why i made any maps was because junk like AA42 comes out and it’s unplayable out of the box. 6 foot maps are playable.

I received my “corrected battlestrip” and additional Japanese tactical bombers but the battlestrip is still wrong as it doesn’t show the tactical bomber/tank or fighter combo as hitting at 4 or less unless I am mistaken.

Well you do gotta know that stuff though. Like in the 1942 edition (and I’m sure earlier) artillary supports infantry but the strip doesn’t show that. I understand how that’d be useful but if you want one that shows that stuff I saw a really good 1 in one of these threads (maybe even this one) to print off

Who are FMG and IL?

Got my battlestrip and 6 tac bombers too with the same letter from sam (wow that dude/chick gets around). The battlboard is a little beat from the points of the tacs and 2 of the 6 have white tinge on wongs and tail as well but all are very much usable and I’m happy enough with it. Thanks to everybody else who helped make this possible with calls and e-mails. This is a great group of people.

I should also mention I’m not as much of a naval guy. Although I’d still love to try Japan and still US at least once.

I have yet to play Japan or US but i don’t think I’d have as much fun as US. My favorite is UK that I’ve played so far. They in my opinion have the key role for the allies early on.

Bigger? Lol what’re you going to do when E1940 comes out? You’ll need extended grabbers to move all the pieces. :p

bob, looking for something about maybe the size of 4-6 kamakazi markers that can take the place of large groups of surface ships for all parties involved.  right now we just write numbers on the backs of the round country markers, but that’s a little ghetto :)

In the games we’ve played this week anzac focused on a navy and that seemed to work well. I might have to try this idea against my friend next time we get to play. We (my bro frinds and i) have yet to beat him at this type of. This spans years of playing lotr risk in my basement. This seems like if china can roll well and uk plays good defense, and anzac does good with a navy that this could be solid. I’ll have to play a 1 plaer game and try it out.

I called monday or tuesday and asked if i needed to send in the wrong strip. He said i wouln’t if i was already on the list and that the tac bombers would be included too. Said i should get them in a week or 2

That’s cool, does anyone know if there are any plans to produce an IPC chart that goes to say….80? I’d much rather see that.

Honestly the last game we played i used pen and paper for production and it seemed to work better. On paper there’s no way to accidentally bump tokens. When we take over territories we leave the control tokens upside down. After non combat movement we flip them and adjust all at once. I still like my paper money (thank you monopoly lol). Anyway it really doesn’t take much more time. Works well for small areas (so screwed when E1940 comes out lol.)

I called and the guy on the phone said if you’re already on the mailing list they’ll still send the tac bombers. He said also that if you’re on the list already you don’t need to send your old battle strip. Said it should be to us in about a week. If you’re not on the list probably call?

play a few more games.  Japan should take Phillipenes right away on J1 and the US should not be able to fortify it.

If they do that though they also need to take the uk space along the china coast to prevent both us and uk from their NOs.
