Hey, got some questions about these 2 games, hope you dont mind answering some of them.

1: If combined will they be the same size as the AA50 map?

2: Are they limited editions like AA50 and as such will they be gone from the market soon like AA50?

3: Could someone point me in the direction of some detailed photo’s of the map?

Italy has only two unique sculpts.

Infantry - Unique Italian Sculpt (Looks kinda similar to German Infantry)
Artillery - Japanese Artillery Sculpt
Tank - Unique Italian Sculpt - (Looks kinda similar to Japanese Tank)
Fighter - German Fighter Sculpt
Bomber - Japanese Bomber Sculpt
All Navy Units are Copies of German Naval Pieces

Chinese Infantry Pieces do not look like any other infantry pieces. (If i had to chose a piece i would suggest using soviet infantry pieces)

I suggest you just buy a copy of 1942 and spray paint some of the pieces to form an Italian Army and a Chinese Army. Thats probably the cheapest solution.

Thanks a lot man, is there somewhere I can download the Italian markers as well? (So that I can print them and glue them to cardboard).

Been working on making my own makeshift version of the anniversary edition, finished making the map and the objectives/start up charts (Thanks to people on this forum, I’m very grateful) but I’m still missing Italian/Chinese pieces and markers. I thought I’d check here if anyone had some spare that they would like to sell for a reasonable price.

Short of that, could an anniversary owner please advice me as to which pieces look the most like Italian ones? For example it seems like their artillery looks like Japanese Artillery. Knowing which ones look the most like the actual Italian pieces would help in the scavenging for pieces to repaint.

Download ABattlemap and the AA50 modules on this site.  The AA50 modules show the starting setup for '41 and '42.

Could someone here please provide a link where I can find the troop setup charts for the anniversary conditions / post them here? I’m purely curious as to how the game starts. If you consider this spam then feel free to delete the thread. Thanks in advance

3. download the rules from wizards, download AABattlemap and play by forum

Hello, first of all I’m sorry if this is considered spam.

I’m a big fan of the Axis and Allies Revised edition and the anniversary edition looks like a lot more fun to play, but whenever I look for it online I can’t find anywhere it isn’t sold out. And where it isn’t sold out it’s listed for prices like 500 $ and the like. Any advice?
