I hope there will be an aspect in the game that involves the native islanders and the huge contribution they made in the Pacific theatre.

RE: Does Risk suck?posted in Other Games
I don’t think Risk sucks at all. It’s a great game to play when you don’t have days to dedicate to A&A. It’s also a great game to play with family because it is easily taught

More A and A Miniatures questionsposted in Miniatures (Original)
1. Is it considered, attacking the rear armour if the enemy is across from one of the sides of your tanks?
2.If a tank is shooting 1 hex (or any for that matter) away from an inf in a forest hex is his line of sight blocked bu the inf’s hex?
3. If you disturb an enemy from a defensive fire attack, can he still go ahead with attacking you? or move anymore?
4. On some unit adv/dis advs, it talks about adding attack value during an attack. Does attack values resfer to the amount of dice thrown?
5. Are cities considered road hexes since they contain roads in them?
6. The Japanese amphibious tank moves into the pond. Does this mean it can also go in a marsh hex?

RE: UK Pacific Fleetsposted in Axis & Allies Revised Edition
On UK1 I always pull my fleet out from the Pacific to the Mediterrenian to assist in taking out the German fleet. There is no use getting your whole fleet destroyed and maybe an enemy or two when you can threaten the German naval defence.

RE: Can the US have naval superiority?posted in Axis & Allies Revised Edition
The only case when US can have a confident surperiority is when Japan is very aggressive in Asia and the US is nearly 100% comitted in the Pacific. Even though there are many ipcs to have in the Pacific it is better to Support your allies in Euope.

RE: Worth it?posted in Axis & Allies Revised Edition
I wouldn’t focus on being aggressive with the UK because of their thinly stretched lines throughtout the map. When I’m Britain, I send my middle eastern inf to india and make and aggresive assualt on north africa, while threatening western europe with fighters and transports. In my opinion, Britain is a nation which should be focussed on draining german ipcs and ensuring Russian sucess.

Various questions regarding play.posted in Miniatures (Original)
Can units shoot at an enemy unit behind another one?
Does an attack on one unit in a hex affect other units in the same hex?
On a sucessful cover roll, can the attacker resume his attack with the effected unit?

RE: Dieppe Raidposted in Miniatures Scenarios
