Reminded me of some questions I had, normally I make up a quick house rule untill rule is resolved :P

Can you take fighter planes on a bombing mission with you to absorb attacks?  I am thinking no and their movement would probably make it hard to use anyways.

After the anti aircraft guns fire at  your bombers to you first roll to see if you hit or do you just roll straight to see how much money you hurt them for.

If I understand the rule correctly no matter how many bombers your bring your dmg the economic dmg can only be as high as that’s territory value?

I tried to cram the entire book in my head in one game session and perhaps I overlooked the rule.  If a fighter plan has a movement of 4 and can fly over enemy territory and engages a combat on movement 4 but cant occupy a newly won territory does the planes movement reset after the battle or is the plane lost?  Basically what im asking is does the planes movement reset after battle or does all its move going to and leaving have to be within its range?

Played first game lastnight in 10+ years.    I quickly reached the max IPC on the gameboard…I think 62?  Can this number be exceeded or is that the cap?  Perhaps I played it wrong and shouldnt have that may IPC lol……

What will be the primary differences between revised and the new AA42?  It looks like I can get revised at a affordable price on ebay.  Will the AA42 be readily available when it comes out?

Hey all,  I first played the original Axis and Allies game about 15 years ago.  I have not played since.  I do remember it was my favorite board game.  I would like to play this game with my family and some friends.  There are so many versions of this game Im really confused on what to buy (which ebay seems to be the only way to get it)  Does anyone mind giving me a brief summary of the different versions and what you would recommend?  I can tell you the 50th anniversary is out  of my price range  :p .    Original, Revived or wait for the August release?  I got my son all excited talking about this game but I don’t know which one to get!
