Im selling a bundle of A&A50 + Revised. Both sets are 100% complete, and both games have been opened but never played. (Revised pieces are still in the sealed plastic)
PM if interested or for additional info and pictures.
Fair price in mind and ready to ship.

So I go to half price books and there are 5 copies of the A&A PC game, I purchase 2 despite already owning the game and am considering going back and buying the remaining three
tripleA rocks.
the only knock is the weak AI, but single player games are not its focus. having the ability to play solo in any capacity for a free open source project intended for online play is really a bonus imo
not being able to configure a firewall is a user issue, especially when they explain (for the non tech savvy) how to configure your firewall on their website. in these instances the question should be, why dont I know how to operate my firewall, not why cant the game configure my firewall for me.
The GameMaster line is a must play for A&A fans who havent heard or played them…
Conquest of the Empire
Fortress America
epic games.
sadly Fortress America is out of print and had been for some time. used copies go for 100-125, factory sealed can go for 200-250.
1. AAR
2. Classic, 2 ed.There is such a gulf between the two that its almost not worth comparing them to me. My old game sits in its box and we wont touch it even if we want to play A+A, there is just no reason for it anymore. I think I am going to just scrounge the units out so that we can replace eventual losses in the new board.
Im assuming AAR is revised, and do they actually sell a Classic 2ed anymore? I didnt see anything other than Revised, Anniversary and the offshoots (D-Day, Europe etc) at my local shop.
Im not sure what version I was playing as a kid but im pretty sure it was the original GameMaster 84 version. Is 2ed clearly labeled as such or that just classic with a revised rule book?
haha, just bought Anniversary. get this, im taking the pieces out of the cases and getting things in their trays ready for gameday this weekend and I turn around and my dog is chomping on the edge of the cover box!!! 100 bucks and the corner of one box is ripped off. what a bummer. (though at least she wasnt munching on the board!)
anywho, im going to get revised this weekend as well. found a cool shop that has all the versions and im going to pick one up each week until I have the complete set!
Hey everyone. Just getting back into A&A after a long hiatus. Exciting that there are two new versions of the game since I last played. (revised & anniversary)
Anyways im trying to figure out which of those versions to get (should I play them in order of their release or skip right to Anniversary) im also considering going back any getting some of the offshoots like D-Day and Europe etc…
But I wanted to see how the hardcore players rate them. So if you guys have some time can you rate the games in order of personal preference, 1-9? (i got nine by including the miniature game) Maybe a brief explanation of why you rate the top one or two so high and maybe an explanation of why you rate the bottom two so low)
And not so much by series importance, but current level of interest in playing. (otherwise id assume Classic would win out, which is fine if that’s still the version you like playing most)
Thanks in advance. Im going to be ordering quite a few versions this week and wanted to get opinions from people that matter!
thanks daggaz!
should i buy the Revised or Anniversary edition of the game?
which do people like more?
