Hi,
I’m from Munich, too.
Thanks, going to order one in Holland :-)
Haben die die grosse dort auch?
Is the latest version of the map (the one w/o Harbours and Airfield) available for download somewhere? I’m living in Germany and would like to print the newest version on self-adhesive Vinyl here locally.
Thank you!
Greetings,
I’m looking for a wider range of researchable technology for my next G40-game.
I’ve already used the “Search”-option but couldn’t find any good results.
Are there any good house-rule versions of the tech-charts with more options?
Thank you :-)
Greetings from Munich.
That’s a very satisfying explanation, Krieghund. Thank you!
Why can’t subs attack aircraft (done a thousand times in WW2) and why can Infantry fire at Strategic bombers…???
Canuck, could you please update your great NO-Chart? Official Alpha+3-Rules say now:
11/17/11 US NO change: 5 IPCs for each turn that the US has at least one land unit in the territory “France”. Theme: Great Alliance collaboration
Thank you :-)
May I build a Major IC in Kiangsu or Manchuria as Japan?
If you read page 9 of the Pacific Rulebook: Chinese territories on the game board have a Nationalist Chinese nationality symbol on them. Some of these territories begin the game already under Japanese control. They still are considered Chinese territories for purposes of original ownership.
Alpha-Rules say: Major industrial complexes can only be built on originally controlled territories (this includes upgrading minor ones). Likewise they may not be upgraded when captured. Major industrial complexes are reduced to minor when captured. The original owner of the territory may upgrade it if the territory is recaptured.
I disagree with that interpretation on the grounds that I understood the markers to mean that china could move into those territories which are chinese , but not orignally controlled by china at the beginning of the game. Original control to me is what territories you start with. NOT your interpretation of the rule. It sounds stupid to interpret it that way when original control clearly means what you start with is what you originally control.

It’s a bit confusing… I’ll post it in the FAQ…
I see! Good explanation. Thank you!
Can you please explain, why you should build an Aircraft Carrier in G1 when threatening a sea-lion?
In Alpha +2 it says:
“The United States Navy, while being neutral, has the following movement restrictions. […] In the Pacific it can only end naval movements in sea zones that are not adjacent to Japanese-controlled territories and islands.”
Does this mean:
Sea zones that are adjacent to sea zones “containing” the Japanese-controlles territory? For example SZ 23, 24 or 16…
or
Sea zones that “contain” the Japanese-controlles territory? For example SZ 6, 17 or 34…
Thank you!
the number of units shown is the number of units player violating neutrality has to fight. in any case all strict neutrals become pro-your enemy.
Clear to me. But not all these new “pro-enemy-units” are activated at once globally, right?
@Cmdr:
Earned it getting above average dice rolls in a majority of my naval campaigns while playing the Germans. Back in the AARe days.
You should call yourself “Die Flottenvernichterin” as you can “murder” persons only in german language. “Vernichten” means to annihilate, to destroy. Would sound better, at least in german ;-)
What excatly happens to strict neutral territories when attacked?
