Keeping track of the national production/IPC at the top of the board… to recalculate them at any time, do you count the numbers territories you possess? And is there a good online calculator to help with this?

@barnee sorry to be unclear. My question is: is Infantry considered a “land unit”, and therefore only allowed placement in a territory where there is an industrial complex?

@barnee sorry, another learner question: when mobilizing/placement/Deployment of purchased units, the rules say that land units can only be placed near industrial complexes. Does this include infantry?

Can a damaged carrier keep attacking in round 2 of the sea battle in an amphibious assault?

The carrier took a hit in the 1st round of sea battle because it had no planes on it.

Can it roll for an attack on round 2?

@Witt that’s fine. In the situation i was in, there isnt much reason to retreat

Hello, can a transport defend itself at all? Eg if a battleship attacks a zone that has a cruiser and a transport, if the cruiser sinks on the first round, can the battleship keep on firing? Did the transport (no cargo nor infantry) get to fire a round when the cruiser was still there?

hello!

how do we work out what income at the start of the 2nd move if we have lost track of territories that have changed hands? do we just count all territories occupied by the nation, and how many points, and then any factories that have a 10 or 3 on them add them too? if so, this doesnt seem to match with the intitial starting income?

hello, i haven’t played axis and allies for nearly 25 years, and have forgotten how it goes. have just bought 1940 pacific. trying to play with a clever 6 year old relative, and wondering if you have any tips on who/where i can ask quick questions for things that come up, until have played a few games and feel up to speed!
