Thanks to that Dallas game, Neil O’Donnell can’t show his face in PGH for fear of getting mugged/beaten/killed.
BUT, I am very happy about the 6th win. No matter which way it went, it would’ve made history; I’m just glad it was my team… :-D

WOW, I honestly did not know that ol’ Braveheart went out like that…
I just voted as I did because his cause seems more noble. I guess that’s how it goes with martyrs. I mean, Jesus Christ didn’t exactly have an enviable death either, but his cause was the salvation of the entire human race. (if you believe in that sort of thing)
ROFL!!!
I hope the cat part was not derived from personal experience Jen?
@ABWorsham:
This election seemed endless. :|
Hear hear…
C’mon now, the guy’s opening comment was to point out that the subject got started at work, so it isn’t fair to put all the blame on AB… :-P
I chose Braveheart, because the way I see it, if you’re DESTINED to die for a cause, I’d rather it be the liberation of an entire country, not just avenging my own family.
WOW. I guess the poll hasn’t been going on for that long…
Anyway, it seems a waste to vote and not add any input, so here goes:
Yes, I put football. I just like the way the game is played, i.e. I’d play REAL LIFE football before anything else. That being said, football is also the sport I enjoy watching most too. I love getting fired up over it, kinda like how I play video games…
This is why alternate setups are the shizznit. If Germany has only their capital left, and USSR and US are on either side, then just have 'em duke it out when Germany does fall. I missed the vote, :-( so I’ll go ahead and say a stalemate. Russia had no real capacity to invade the US, but they had enough superiority to sweep through Europe. After that, it would come down to shuttle-ing troops across the Atlantic and Pacific. US had the upper hand there, but if Russia owns Europe, then they have a little bit more pull, and can focus more on their navy if need be.
And mind you, this is ONLY possible if no nukes start flying. Once they do, this “stable” scenario will start to collapse, and as Imperious Leader said, so will civilization.
Well I really don’t have to many yellow cloths
I mix it up with black sometimes so I look like a hornet :-D (sick right)But seriously I can prove yellow is the best color
So that was YOU in that old Blind Melon video!!
Haha, but I am curious as to your “proof”…
WOW.
I like blue, but I don’t know if my devotion is THAT extreme…
Contrary to popular opinion, my favorite color is NOT orange…
BLUE!! All the way! Represent!!
I guess it’d be possible as long as the gears and whatnot were still in place…
Whatever had been damaged due to environmental conditions (flooding, cold, etc.) might have been replaced, but it seems plausible to me…
Not gonna say anything about it, other than: WHO has seen this movie, and WHAT did you think of it?
For me, yes I HAVE seen it, and I thought that it was quite an eye-opener…
The point that jumped out at me was the facing question, so I’ll answer that one first…
I’ve always considered facing to include anything in your line-of-sight that lies within the 60 degree arc formed by the side of the hex that your unit is facing. Just imagine a 60-degree angle coming out of the center of your unit’s hex, and it’s sides extending out on either side of your unit, making said arc.
As far as the road bonuses, you only get the extra movement point if you move from one hex containing a road to another hex also containing a road. I suppose this is meant to illustrate moving along level, packed dirt/pavement, instead of rough, uneven terrain. Think about it; you can go much farther in the same amount of time if you drive on a road than if you’re 4-wheeling, right?
It’s kinda hard for me to explain without using pictures, and there are those around here that might give a more official/accurate answer, but I hope this helps anyway… Have fun with it - I love this game!!
I had considered using each major power’s commander units to give a buff to all units in the same territory as them. I never thought up any good ones though, but it still seemed like a good idea.
My avatar is a picture of Balsac, the Jaws of Death, is the guitarist for GWAR.
Not many people are familiar with their music, but I enjoy it, and they put on an awesome show. (That is, if you can handle the freaky kind of stuff that you’ll see/hear)
GWAR is awesome. They do an awesome performance.
My avatar is my son back in August at a cabin. He’s wearing a fake mustache, and you can see a can of American Spirits rolling tobacco on the porch swing in the background.
Cool points for you. A lot of the people I know act as if I’m a wierdo for liking them, but if they only knew…

Not knocking the new movie at all, but there are nowhere near as many characters to choose from. I was always a fan of Beast Wars, back when I was in high school, but for the new movie, I’d have to go with Starscream.
I would interpret that to mean “What units do you take into battle nearly 100% of the time?” Is that about right?
In those terms, I would use point value, defense, attack dice, range, etc. as deciding factors, definitely. And it’s worth mentioning that I have my forces set up into 600-point armies, because I think bigger is better.
Assuming I have the point correct, and not counting depot units, I’d go with these:
Allies
Axis
Can anyone tell me where the best place is to look for buying new map tiles? I actually mailed all mine away as part of a donation, and now I’m kinda screwed on maps…
