have you played the original A&A?
If Yes, then it’s easy - there are some simple variations including (not limited to) artillery (every art makes 1 inf attack on a "2), SBR’s are different - defending cities can scramble ftrs to meet the bombers. Bombers can scramble ftr escorts. The defending ftrs defend at “2” the attacking ftrs attack at “1”, there is only 1 round of this combat, and then roll for your bomber (AA shots taken as before). If the Germans run a sub over a “convoy” square the allies lose the income for that convoy (the Germans don’t get the income as they just “blew up” the convoy) - the allies can recover by sending an attacking naval unit over it (not a trn). Subs can only be hunted by destroyers and there can be no battle between air and subs (esp w/o destroyers). Destroyers are cool. With them subs lose their “first strike” i.e. defenders can fire back after sub hits, plus they can bombard coasts at “2” (BB’s at “4” still).
Allies can send ftrs to a Russian city (with an IC) and during the Russian Non Combat they are converted to Russian at their discretion. Also the oil patch countries - if taken by Germans the incomes remain the same as if they were still in allied hands, but Germany collects cash from the Allies (of the Allies’ choice) for the ipc value of nations they are holding.
