1914 - Play by email

Looking for a PBEM game to play test new map.  Can discuss procedure on mechanics of how to play via email.  I am retired, so pace of game can be slow for anyone who wants to have game up and playing for long period due to their work or school schedule.

Basic rules plus new rules to support map changes.  Unit types all same, couple of changes to abilities.
I am attaching a med size .jpg for review, but have larger version for printing.  Final map is approx 33 x 32.  Can cut and tape together sheets of paper to make map.

Other players have contacted me and I am finishing up 1 forum game and starting 2  new forum games of Europe 1940. The turns are going fast so it’s time consuming.  I haven’t even had time to play Panzer Corps lately, which is my other favorite game.  So I will decline to play against you in play by email.  Sorry, hope that you find someone else to play against.

You can try to contact Greg Smorey the A&A GM for Origins and Gen Con Indy.  He has a data base of A&A players, including ones from the Indy area, so he should be able to hook you up.

We play the same. We’ve never said NO TECH, but no one has ever wasted their money on trying.

okay i have finsihed my mordern axis and allies varient http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=7630.15. does any one want to try it out you can either be axis(persia and russia) or the allies(america,europe, and japan) i’m sure it needs somework, but it’s on the revised map with s. korea being added as a territory. we will not play with nukes (trying to balcence them) and i use http://frood.net/aacalc/.

Hey Bart, looks like I cannot download TripleA until I upgrade my Mac OS package.  Is that what you use?  I have used my physical board to track moves instead of an online board, and justed posted force summaries at the end of each turn.  Check out my recent game against baekgom or any of the other ongoing games on the forum to see how this works.  I am generally able to post 9am-4pm EST and after 11pm EST.  If you are interested, I like to play without NA’s or Research.  I played as the Allies last time and would like to try my hand as the Axis.  For a diceroller, I use www.rjware.net/WGMC/AHAA/diceroller.jsp.  I would like to play to 9VC, but would play to 10 VC if you really want.  Larry Harris Tournament Rules seem to be standard here, the main difference I noticed versus Out-of-the-box rules regard Strategic Bombing–under LHTR a SBR can only inflict damage equal to the target territory’s IPC per TURN, not per bomber.  Reply with any questions, or just start a new thread under Games with Russia Turn 1.  Hope to hear from you soon.
