I’ve been making Global 40 vids for the last few weeks and having a blast, but playing against real people would be funner.

Hey, Karl7, I actually just moved to the Bay Area a couple months ago, I’m currently living in Concord.  Maybe we can meet up in the Bay Area?  I love Global 1940 and 50th Anniversary edition, and I have both.  I was just about to start looking for players, so your post was beautifully timed.

Truckee is a beautiful town, though.  Have a good time in the snow!

Myself, a rugby teammate, an old highschool buddy still play AA.  Started in 1987 and been playin ever since.  We have/play all versions, but prefer Global.  We also play other games should people want too, we don’t care what we play really.  We have 2 tables set up in the basement with a Guinness, Wernesgruener, Miller Lite, Dr.Pepper, Coke, and Pepsi fridge G2G.

I have 3 children so I can’t play away unless in St.Louis.  And then…it would take weeks to prepare.  Feel free to post here, I will bookmark this thread or PM me.

I am looking for players on Axis & Allies Pacific 1940 (plus Europe when released in August).

I can host. I will also not mind driving to NJ or CT on occassion to play.

Hey David, been a long time since I checked this, but glad to see I am not alone here in the City.

Anyhow, given the holiday and work, I don’t think I will be open until after New Years.  But let me know what you are thinking re: which game you want to play. I’ve been happily mired in Global since it came out and through all its iterations, but I’d be up for anniversary or pacific, Europe, old/new if global is too much of commitment.

Are you playing the board game or miniatures?  I play miniatures in Peterborough and know some other miniature players in Oshawa.

I haven’t played online before, but the computer is just way to easy… I need some more challenge, anyone game?
