Okay - so now I’m confused again after reading other topics - In a SBR does the process go
for example
Germany has 1 bomber attacking Brtain
Britain shoots AA but rolls a 3 so nothing happens
Germany rolls a 4 or below
Britain losses 8 IPC

OR

Germany has 1 bomber attacking Brtain
Britain shoots AA but rolls a 3 so nothing happens
Germany rolls a 3
Britain losses 3 IPC

OR

Germany has 3 bombers attacking Brtain
Britain shoots 3 AA but none roll 1 so nothing happens
Germany rolls a 4 or below on all 3
Britain losses 24 IPC

Your second example is correct.

The “attack” roll for a bomber only applies to when it is used to attack combat units.

For an SBR, it is a roll of 1 die per bomber and the total of the die/dice is the number of IPC’s lost.

And yes, the AA guns fire first.
