German Goliath Bombs?
-
I’m pretty sure Goliath bombs need line of sight to their target, don’t they? It says instead of your assault, to pick a soldier or vehicle on the field and roll 2 dice. I’m assuming they need line of sight but that isn’t mentioned. Can anyone clarify this for me please?
-
Yes they do need line of sight. I’ll try to find the “official” clarification for you as well.

Here you go:

Thanks again! I LOVE fielding this unit. Just got them by mail. They’re almost a little unfair for 1939 but I’m not complaining.
-
I never liked them myself, though you do make a good point about it being a 1939 unit…Germany does need a bit of help versus those French Char b1 bis monsters…

Did you notice the answer to question 5. Unless I’m rusty from not playin in a while, DF can been done during the assualt phase. The doesn’t answer the question.
5. The Goliath can attack using its normal attack dice in any situation where an attack would be allowed, including defensive fire. The Remote Control SA can be used only during your own assault phase, which means it can’t be used in defensive fire.

Nice. Thanks for the clarification half track!

Good call.

I don’t feel this SA attack can be used for DF fire although I feel that most do.

OK, I looked up the wording:
“Instead of attacking during your assualt phase”
It can only be used on your own assault phase.
You are right on.
