Is there a new release date for the French set? we seem to have passed the original April 1st date. Just asking for an update.

i’m surprised we got neutral set with anything other than infantry. And very surprised it was released before USSR, UK, and Japan. I kind of get Italy, France and Anzac but before 3 of the 5 Major Powers? As far as USSR, UK and Japan goes I’m surprised we got two German sets and two American sets first and almost got a third american set.

any plans on an Allied minors set to mix with neutrals?

Coach does the Yellow Green match the OOB of the chinese? or is there another set you have that matches OOB China?

i went through this i got a battlestrip anyway I told them repeatively it wasn’t something i needed but i got another one, they did send me 9 more tac bombers 6 that were missing and 3 more to say sorry

you know the more i think about it. the more i like the idea of a dark purpleish/ dark blue color for vichy france. I worry about the oob blue being to close to the vichy blue. I see france and vichy france as Allied France (oob colors) and Axis France (called Vichy for most conversation but it’s basically just that France in the Axis powers) and I want the colors far enough apart not to cause confussion. So a dark purple sounds really good. No one else is purple or close to it.

i competely agree on the nebelwerfer. I think you should to a Germany super weapons set with the nebelwerfer, amerika bomber, v-1, v-2, maus, me-163 and more stuff like that.

I have searched the boards and can’t seem to find anyone talking about what should be in a british set. If you have a link to one it would be great

did you read the annoucement when it was first made? There was a link there it took you to wizards.com. As far as I know '41 has moved from the annoucement phase to the pre-order phase. IL says he’s already pre-ordered his, I’ve never pre-ordered anything from WotC so you’ll have to ask him how he did it. But there’s the same proof about '41 that there is for '42 sorry you missed you’re chance to see it.

i don’t think i even have my copy of the rules anymore. I’ll have to see I did see them on ebay for $5 so i might have to rebuy them. If someone has them email them to me and I’ll do the work of making them global friendly.

is that good enough for atleast '42? if you had bothered reading the annoucements on both games, when the annoucements were made, you would have read the line: if you think this is a joke here’s a link to wizards.com with Axis and Allies 1941 and Axis and Allies 1942 2nd edition. Right there on wizards.com. I thought it was a joke at first too over on HGD.com forums you can see me saying it to IL on around the 2nd then i learned to read and learned to click on links and figured out i was wrong. Now the pages have been changed and only '42 2nd edition is still up there. but hey stay tuned I’ve been reading Axisandallies.org for years now. They will be doing a game annoucement series complete with pics of the game and a break down of the game parts here in about 3 weeks normally starts 3-4 weeks before the game is released.

I’m thinking the old AA guns are going away and the AA Artillery is the replacement.

LMAO I was using Gamers Paradise rules in Revised. I’ve been thinking about dusting them off and maybe trying them in Global but it’s been so long and so many changes were made. I think it would be alot of work to get them ready to use but OMG did i love them.

i agree I use an infantry unit sitting on top of a control marker for paratroopers for everyone but the USA. I have the USA paratroopers HBG put out.

I just find it funny how US gets 2 sets, germany gets (basically) 2 sets, russia gets 1, japan gets 1, france gets 1, Italy has one (FMG), and Neutrals get 1, but no word on the British. Next thing you know China will get one and still no British plans.  :-D just talking about the big white elephant in the room.

Is there any plans for a British Set? Seems to be the elephant in the room.

i use a normal inf. with a control marker under it for paratroops while i wait for paratroopers for each nation.

IL i know you probally misspock but the games are to be released 5 weeks apart. June 19th (day after my b-day) and July 27th (x-wife’s b-day)
With the wording of both ads I think we are getting 21 new pieces plus 5 AA artillery. On the grounds that it’s not all new when it was released a month before.

I’m thinking the old AA gun is going away. Everyone wave bye bye to the oddest piece in the game. The German AA Artillery will be the 88mm thus German would ‘need’ a new artillery piece. And 21 new scuptors would be awesome. I hope that’s 4 per nation and of course US gets the extra. Plus everyone gets the new AA Artillery.
