    • Contested sea zone clarafication

      so ive searched and could not find this answer…so my question is if a surface warship starts it turn in the same space as the opposing powers surface warships,can that ship move out of that space and ignore those opposing ships?or are they required to fight IF they want to leave the space…(i realize i can leave them there and do nothing)  and whileim at it…in other editions, whats the rule for this as well? an example being japan has ships on the pacific w. usa border and usa buys ships there on there turn so now on japans turn can they just leave that space they started the turn in without a fight (during non combat stage) thanks…

    • RE: Gameboard space question

      the reason i asked is becuase i have adopted the same "straights and canal rules from global into this game to try and keep it uniform  and a bit  more challenging…as  Nwestern europe in this game is like denmark in global,so i treat it as u cant pass thru the straight without holding Nw europe…in this edition…as well as subs only thru Gibltr unless ur the owner like global…so this was why i wanted to know.just for a house rule

    • RE: Want to Buy New Style A&A Chips

      If u still want chips u can get them on HBG in half bags for 3.95 while supplies last…i picked up enough so I can play global 40 with them and still have the ones from 42 2E to use for that game.u need about 72 or so grey chips for the global 2E setup (using greens and reds where applicable)not counting any of the neutral armies.and doubling up with peices instead of chips in some areas.

    • RE: CSI shipping

      I had someone else order the game being shipped via fed ex so getting the game eventually the 2 nd time ordered shouldnt be a issue hopefully,but I still shelled out the money twice & have been kept waiting far too  long and still have to deal with the “return process” if my original copy even shows up of course.

    • RE: CSI shipping

      They apparently issue tracking numbers for fed ex …but not for usps…everybody else ive ever ordered from via usps can still issue tracking no matter what level of service u choose to ship as.i get that its possible usps "lost the package"however…they never have in my case my entire life.so since csi cant even provide any proof whatsoever to me it was shipped then I shouldnt have to eat the cost whether "lost " or not.either way its not fair imo I had taken my vacation to be home all week for delivery & had a big game weekend cancelled including telling my 8yr old it hasnt arrived cuz he absolutly loves A&A and has 3 yrs of global 40 lessons & memories already.so if I had known I had to use fed ex just to be able to get tracking info I definitly would have.Lesson learned

      @malfnuction:

      game should have shipped to arrive on release date or a day thereafter.

      CSI?  never again.

      i thought pre-ordering was a sort of way to get a minor privilege…you know get the game asap?!

      instead still dont have the game and no tracking number was issued. i had to use USPS but that is no excuse for not getting the game out a little earlier

      so where are u located?im 2 hours from them in florida and no game either using usps…i get items in 2 or 3 days with standard usps service from all over the US reguraly which is why I believe    they have given us the screw imo…after contacting all 3 locations just to even come drive to buy another copy they were all out and corey the shipping manager says they cant reship…id have to pay  again and then return the original copy  if it ever shows…& if it doesnt im outta luck apparently

    • RE: CSI shipping

      Another day without the game,so thats technically 5 days its already taken to be shipped usps to the same state 2 hours south of the warehouse…csi has no copies of the game at there retail locations and they wont reship…they expect to take another 75 bucks from me and I have to ship the first one back if it ever shows up of course otherwise im out the money…not fair imo
